B2 visa renewal process

hi,

My mothers 10 year visa is expiring in April. She is currently in US. Is it possible to renew her visa from US or does she need to travel outside of US. Also, can I apply for her extension beyond April even though her visa expires in April or do I need to first get the visa renewed and then apply for extension?

You can't renew visa from USA. Yes, you can apply for her I-94 extension beyond April.
