Sir/Madam.
I need an urgent advice.My I140 has been approved, and I 485 is pending since the last 14 months.My project ended recently but since I have my EAD, I have already joined another company, but the problem ever since is that my ex-company who applied for my1-485 has been threatning me that they might terminate my I-485, if I do not join them in their new project. Can they do that after 180 days under any circumstances ? Please respond quickly I am in total confusion.

employer cannot do anything if after 180 days

I do not think that the employer can do anything after 180 days ...you should be ok but then make sure that the INS is updated about the new job change else you might end up getting an RFE and also make sure that your current project is going to be in a permanent position with similar job descriptions and almost similar pay scales.

With in how many days does the INS need to be informed from the day you leave the project?
