  • how should my parents carry documents to interview.

    Hi,

My parents have interview on 24 th .I'm not sure how they are called for the interview once they go inside? Is it together or individually one at a time.

Can some one please tell me regarding this?

If they are not called together, do they need to carry 2 sets of documents
one set by my mom and one set by my father? In that case do I need to send them 2 sets of documents , like two I-134 forms, 2 letters from the bank, 2 letters from the employer etc. Some one please answer my question.I hope its not too late.

Also do they need to get all property statements and other documents from CA ( chartered accountant)in 2 sets?In that case isn't CA going to charge double the fees?

Also who needs to prepare mother and father's affidavits. Is it an advocate or CA .Has it to be prepared on stamp paper ?

I have accounts in 2 banks here? One of them is BOA.I was able to send letter to my parents from the other bank but not BOA because these people caused a lot of delay. Is letter from 1 bank enough.Or do i need to mail my parents BOA letter too.I hope its not too late to mail them now.

Some one please answer my questions , I know I have asked a lot of questions. But at this point of time everything is like confusing for me, please help me.

    thanks in advance.

    Hi:

my in-laws went recently to the interview. So, here are the answers:

    1. They will be asked to go together to the interviewer.
    2. Copies of documents depends on the document type. I had sent 2 sets of bank letters, I-134. All other docs, just one copy.
    3. I had sent only 1 set of affidavit and CA docs. They prepared the affidavit document and had to sign it in front of a notary. No stamp paper. Just normal A4.
    4. One bank's statements should do as long as you have good balance to support both the parents.
