Hi All,
I would appreciate some advise on our situation. Our inlaws had visitor visa's rejected in 2004 and 2005. Then they applied for immigration based green card and got approved in 2006. They came to US and went back to India few times in 2007 and 2009. Since they have not come using Green card for 7 years, it is considered abandoned. We want them to visit USA again this year. So, they are going to apply for Visitor visa and surrender the green card.
Any thoughts/advise on how the history of previous visitor visa rejection would impact here? Usually, any experience of what kind of questions visa officer could ask when surrendering green card?
Thanks
