  • Can I apply for B visa while my I-130 is still in process with USCIS

    Dear Sir/Madam
Can I apply for the B2 (Vist visa) to visit my father to US he is US citizen and he filed my case I-130 "Married Son and daughter", my case is still with USCIS and I received the receipt notice only 3 years back. What question I may face in consulate and how I can show to visa officer that I will come back and I have strong ties with country.

    Regards
    Noman

You can apply for visitor visa but it depends on visa officer to approve it or not. Please provide some information on family background.
This is not a legal advice. Use at your own risk.

Having an I130 filed will surely limit the chances of getting a B2 visa. If you can convince the officer that you have enough ties back to home country, then you may get lucky.

This is my opinion not legal advice.
