DS-156 question

I am trying to fill DS-156 for my in-laws Question#39 and 40 in DS-156 asks for the details of the person who is preparing the form. (
39. Was this Application Prepared by Another Person on Your Behalf (If answer is YES, then have then that person complete item 40.) () YES, () No
Where the item 40, talks about the name of the person who prepared the application form, address, relationship, signature, and date)

I think I should select YES in this case (as this need to be submitted from my computer in USA), but does it effect the interview in anyway?

(In TTS visas FAQs it is suggested to book appointments on their own, to avoid data entry errors)

Yes, put ur name and address there. It won't affect the Visa interview.

No, Its Not. What u put in that column has nothing to do with the decision of visa approval/denial.

Whoever fills the form put their name. Don't put applicant's name unless the applicant fills it.
