Visa granted - Feb 14th appt at Chennai.

Just got a call from india that my mother got visa.
It was a chennai appointment at 9.30am

Don't know the details. Will update when i get the details.

Feel relieved.

I was very skeptical about she getting the visa due to:

(1) She not owning any property in India; Never worked.
(2) She is a widow.

Interview details:
2 questions asked
(1) How many children in India?
(2) Who are you staying with now? ( in the affidavit that my mother prepared it was written that she is staying with my brother in india).

Note:
1. In the forms/LETTERS, i had asked for 3 months stay here.
2. Mother did not writre a letter to consulate.
3. I had put all my documents in a separate folder.
4. In my invitation letter to mother, i had put the itinery details also.
5. Interviewer was a male (good person :-) - since she got visa)
