  • B2 visa to buy property and semi retire

    Hi

I'm in my late 40s and would like to buy a holiday home in florida and come over with a B2 visa yearly.
I have a good job in the Uk, but no property. Should I mention this as my motivation, and if not, what is the
best approach? I'm also single too, which i guess is not a positive sign for them too.

If I cant get a B2, i can also use the visa waiver for 3 months as well, but would prefer the 6 month B2.

    thanks!

If you mention that you want to buy holiday home visa officer may think that you are planning to move to USA or immigration intention. I would suggest to use visa waiver that is safer than B2 visa.

This is not a legal advice. Use at your own risk.

if i legitimately want to buy a property and semi retire, but B2 visas are granted largely on the basis of suspicion
against worst case scenarios, isnt it in my interest to work the system and provide answers that give me the best
      chance ?

i'm happy to be 100% honest, but what is the best alternative proposition i can give to get a visa

      - travel, tourism, culture?
