US Visitor visa B2 with H1 extension receipt

I have one doubt. My husband is sponsoring US visitor visa for my parents in India. Is it mandatory to send his H1 approval doc or H1 receipt should work? He changed his employer recently.And his H1 approval is yet to come. Can I send my parents with his H1 receipt for the interview of visitor visa?
Appreciate any suggestion.

H1 receipt should work also.
