B2 Visa extension

Hello,

I had a question with regards to the extension for my parents who are on B2
Visa.

My husband and I are currently on H1. We recently had a baby and I wanted to
do part time so have applied for H4 EAD that is pending ( received the
receipt from USCIS) .

We are in the process of moving to a different state in a month and would
like to have my parents stay extended for 2-3 months to help with the move
and to take care of our baby during this transition.

I would like to know if my parents B2 extension will be approved if I
address to USCIs with the above mentioned reason.

Their i94 expires on April 7. How soon do I need to apply for an extension?

If you give that reason most likely it will not approve.

The reason for tourist visa extension would be 'more tourism'.

You should apply at least 45 days before the I-94 expiration date.

Assuming the parents would have been here 6 months by Apr 7, "more tourism" may not fly.

B2 visas are for short term visits, not for spending most of the year in the US. Spending 8-9 months could jeopardize future visits at poe.

I also understand but is this person wants to extend their parent visa more tourism reason is better than any other reason.

I would like to know if I need to fill two different applications for my mom and dad or fill just one and add the other in the supplement form. Also, how about the processing fees, do I need to pay $290 + $85 for each person or both together?
