  • Second Entry with Tourist Visa

I am soon going to Florida from UK, I do not have a waiver as I was denied the using the esta thingy ages ago but have since got my tourist visa.

I have already used it to get into New York last year however I was pulled aside at the airport and had to wait 15mins or so while they looked into it and asked me a few questions. It was a bit of a shock as i wasnt expecting this and got me really worried i was going to be turned away leaving my wife in New york alone. However everything was fine.

My question is am i going to go through this interview type of thing on each visit to US?

Also I am going to florida to catch cruise, will i have to go through this each time i go back and fourth throught the us ports?

    Thanks in advance

It's possible each time you ask to enter the US, whether airport, seaport, or land crossing, you are liable to be questioned by CBP.
