Travelling to US

My family and I are planning to travel to the states in May and we will be staying there for two weeks only. I am a Permanent Resident of Canada and holding a Philippines passport that is valid until October 9, 2015.
Am I still allowed to travel to the US with the validity of my passport or should I renew it before entering the US?
