I already hold a US B1 VISA which I applied last year via my company. I am traveling to US again this year but my wife will be accompanying me this time. She does not hold a US VISA. I am applying a B2 VISA for here separately but I have a few queries for filling up DS-160 form. These are:
1) She is dependent on me and I would be paying for her trip. So I answered 'Person/Entity Paying for Your Trip’ as spouse. Do I need to provide any sponsorship letter for the same.
2) What should be the 'U.S. Point of Contact Information’ for her? Should it be my company address.
3) Do I need to provide any proof from my side to prove that I am traveling to US and she is accompanying me. Any invite letter from company or booked tickets?
4) Is it advisable to book tickets and hotel beforehand(as a proof) or should I wait for her VISA to be approved.
5) We are planning to schedule a appointment around May. She is working right now but is resigning mid April. So while filling up DS-160, should I mention primary occupation as un-employed and mention the current company as previous employers. Does the answer to this question depend on current status while filing up the form or current status while interview.
