Parents visa application fees

Hi,

I am planning to invite my parents for a visit to the US, and had a question regarding their visa application fees. They are currently based in the Eastern Region and will be applying at the Kolkata US Consulate.

Since HDFC doesn't have a payment counter in their hometown, can my brother pay the visa application fees in Bangalore (Southern Region)? Or does the visa application fee have be paid at an HDFC back which is in the same region as the Consulate in which the interview is going to take place?

as far as I know, u can take it from any designated HDFC branch.

Can take DD from any HDFC Bank and ONLY apply in the vfs jurisdiction office.
