Hi all - pls provide guidance. I would like to invite my parents to the US. They are looking to self sponsor themselves
- pls advise what is the minimum amount they need to show on the bank account
- if they show a certain amount on their bank statement which is received from a friend for 6 months atleast before the interview. Which however does not reflect in their previous years income tax statements. Will that be a problem? Does anyone know if the visa officer actually checks the balance in the last 6 months against the previous years income tax statements to see how the money appeared on the statement only for last 6 months?
