Tourist visa(B1,B2)

Hi,

My parents are planning to travel on a tourist visa along with my niece who is a minor ( 7 yrs old) and after my sister's demise is staying with them. Can we apply tourist visa for her only or would her father also require one? He would not be traveling with them. For the visa interview he would be accompanying her along with my parents.

You can apply visa only for the kid alone (under IWP - drop box scheme) with:
1. a cover letter - stating she will be travelling with her grandparents
2. a consent letter from her father - that he is the single parent & he has no objection for her to travel
3. copy of mother's death certificate

Thanks a lot for the reply. I have one more question.
She will be accompanied by her father for the visa interview. But I am not sure how will they allow him to enter the consulate as he's not travelling we'll not raise any interview scheduling request for him. So what's the process to be followed in this case?
