  • Parents Visa got approved in Second Attempt

My Parents visa got approved in second attempt. First attempt they were rejected with 214(b). Don't know further details, will update it once i receive them.
Their first attempt was in Oct and my father was still in service and he said they are going to travel in month of feb after his retirement in Jan.
This time he is retired. There is no other change in the application.
Thanks for the help provided in immihelp.

        Visa stamped for 10 years

Today my parents recieved their passports and their Visa is stamped for 10 years.
Question asked by CO in their interview:
Who is staying in XX state?
From when is she staying there?
        Where is she working?
From when is she working in that company?
How many children do u have?
Why are u going to US?
How many months are u going to stay?

That's it they were asked to pay the fees.

Thanks again to Immihelp.com for the help.

Are you keeping reasonable gap between the last interview and upcoming.
If there is no significant change in the stauts, do not hurry to make another interview.

                To visachief

                To visachief,
I couldn't login as sejmit so i created new id and replying u from that.
U said in your reply :Are you keeping reasonable gap between the last interview and upcoming. If there is no significant change in the stauts, do not hurry to make another interview
                Answer to it is:
My parents went last time in april 2005
                and now going in mar.2006
My father is retired and mom is a housewife.
Earlier visa was rejected on the basis of father's pension income.
So, no significant change possible only thing is that they have very good assets their but CO never gave them a chace to explain in them
So any suggestions from u about how to convince them.
                Thanks

                  same issue with parents visa

Sejal, my parent's visa was rejected at Cal with the same reposne. They were asked about pension and were told their economic situation is not enough to travel to US. Even though I was the sponsor. They applied in oct/05 and plan to apply again in june/06. Please update about what you are planning to do. Thanks
