burka clad VO

I was going through the forum and experiences section to find out typical cases that were rejected. There are several cases like widowed mother, retired parents, all children in the US, etc. But what really stood out were the cases rejected by the burka clad/head scarf VO.....which is pretty disturbing.

Does anyone know of cases accepted by this visa officer and getting 10 year Multiple entry visit visa? If not, this officer seems to have developed some kind of God complex and is reviewing cases unfairly...coz frankly speaking she can't be getting potential immigrants all the time. I personally don't like bad mouthing VOs simply becoz they have to make difficult decisions....but there is something wrong here!

Just let it be !

Listen, there is nothing you can do about it and that's the fact ! VOs are diplomats and they have complete immunity to make any decision ! Now you might think that this particular VO is operating with impunity and rejecting everyone randomly but I am sure that is not the case.

If you take any consulate there is going to be one or two VOs who are known to be more stringent than others. So the applicant should just hope and pray that they don't get that VO ! That is the MAX the applicant can do !

I remember going to the Mumbai consulate in the early 90s for a visa and that time everyone was talking about a chinese lady VO who was rejecting everyone ! Each and everyone in the waiting room was praying hard that they don't get her !

What I am trying to say is that what you are describing about this particular VO is not out of the ordinary and has been going on since the days visas started being issued !

All the applicant can do is not lose hope and keep applying, you never know when you might get lucky !

You cannot choose a CO. Each applicant is evaluated by a qualified CO.
