I am an American citizen who lives in mexico. My husband applied for the visitors visa because we want to visit my family. In 4 minutes my husband was denied, the officer said he had to apply for an immigration visa and my husband explained we don't want to live in the USA, we just want to visit.
My husband has a cat, motorcycle, job (works for the govt and has worked there since 2010, his entire family is here in Mexico (including a daughter with his ex), etc.
The officer denied him without even looking at paperwork and wouldn't listen when my husband explained he doesn't want to move there, he even has his tickets purchased to go and come back 9 days after.
What are his chances to get approved if he reapplies and what should he do different to help his chances.
Please help! I've heard that Ray B knows a lot but we are willing to listen to any advice! Thanks!
