In the line for family name - my fathers name in the passport is without surname it xx yy . how should i fill in the ds160 fathers full name line ?
Sholud i put - surname field as - do not know - or should i put the name as given in my passport in the field of surname and fill the given name field with - do not know.

Family name means - Surname/ Last name
Given name- First name

So in the passport there is no last name, please write " LNU" ( Last name Unknown)
If there is no Given name in passport then write " FNU" (First name Unknown)
