  • Father in law knows English but Mother in law doesn't. Which lang to select?

I am trying to book a B2 visa appointment slot for my in laws. I created an account in my FIL's e-mail ID and added my MIL as his dependent. My FIL knows English ( he is a gynecologist ) and he but my MIL doesnt know english.

    1. Since I've added my MIL as my FIL's dependent, they both will be interviewed together right?

    2. If yes, which language should I select as the language of the interview? I was skeptical cos if I say Kannada ( my MIL's mother tongue ), it would be for both of them and on many forums I've seen ppl advising against native language for educated ppl ( my FIL )

    What do you suggest ppl?

English & let your FIL tell the VO that his wife (your MIL) doesn't know English well.

Most probably, there will be only few very simple questions to your MIL.
