Visa Appointment Questions - Urgent!!

Hello,

My mother has a interview on Feb 25th, however to be on the safer side we have scheduled one more interview on April 23rd, just in case she doesn't get this and as such interview dates are very difficult to get, so was wondering whether there will be any problem regarding this during Feb25th interview, if so do we need to cancel the April23rd interview?

I thought at a time only one interview can be scheduled.

We basically bought 2 receipts and have taken 2 appts, i know it is not refundable, as we really want my mom to be here we have done that, hope this will not cause any problem...

They might have a database where they might find 2 passport numbers for 2 different dates. To be on the safer and lessen my chances of creating trouble in the very beginning, I would probably cancel the other one. The receipt is good for one whole year. So even if something goes wrong you can schedule the other one later. Hope this helps.....

Cancel the second one before your attempt the first interview.

Interesting case! I know Chief has more experience, but is it illegal to have paid for 2 receipts? You can always give several valid reasons for doing it. I dont see why it should cause problems unless people have did face problems with such scenarios.
Are you folks suggesting her to cancel 2nd one based on such experience or just to be on safer side? If she cancels any slot, she would not be able to schedule the new one any time in next 4-5 months. I am sure that would not work out for her.
