  • birth certificate?

I don't have my birth certificate. It was not issued that time.I think my parents should take it when they go for interview. Now what is the alternate document?
Is my tenth/twelth certificate alone enough?? If not what is the other document needed?

yeah I have seen the link. But I didnt get it .
should we get a non availabilty certificate for sure?? How important is that?
I have a affidavit signed by district magistrate three yrs after my birth.
      Is this document sufficient??

what I understand from the link is that
      1) have to show a no availability cert
      2) Matriculation/X std certificate
      3) Affidivait by parents

      Is my understanding correct??

Expecting a reply at the earliest!!! kindly help

A certificate from a Muncipal Office is valid along with the Notary affidavit.

What kind of certificate should i get from muncipal office???

Actually my parents had called VFS office recently and they said the affidavit we got when I was around 3 yrs old ( from the same city I was born) stating my correct DOB would be considered along with an affidavit(notarised) now given by parents.

Has anyone done such kind of thing before?? managed with affidavits alone ? without the letter from muncipal office??
Can we go by what VFS says??? If not what is the exact certificate that I have to get from municipaloffice in my case??

          Please help...
