    Hello,

My VISA and i-84 got expired and my employer is filed filed H1-B normal extension 3 weeks back and it is still in process with USCIS. This may take 6 months time to get it approved.
Can i Sponser my in-laws during the extension phase, if Yes please let me know what is the process and what are all the documents needed.

Please provide your suggestions because it is very urgent

    Thanks,

Yes you can certainly sponsor them. You'll need to file form I-134 for each of the applicant.

For documentation, you'll need to provide them:
    1. I-134
    2. DS160
    3. Photocopies of your visa/petition
    4. Photocopy of extension application
    5. Photocopy of your expired I94
    6. Their individual documents like property/IT documents etc.

I'm sorry, but there is no such thing as sponsoring a B2 visa. There is no legal third party requirement, none whatsoever.

Yes, form I-134 is just an affidavit of support & not legally bound on you.
