Can I use R B1/B2 to travel for business?

Hi everyone,

I applied for B2 Visitor Visa 2 years ago and was granted visa type and category "R B1/B2". I have visited US several times for sight seeing and transit purposes on my current visa. Recently, I switched companies and am required to travel to US for business.
Do I need to separately apply for B1 visa to be allowed to enter US for business? If so, will my current B1/B2 be cancelled?
Or am I allowed to travel for business purposes on my current B1/B2 visa? If so, then would I need any extra documentation at the port of entry?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You can use your existing B1/B2 visa - considering you don't have any annotation on your visa. You just need a valid reason for the visit & supporting documentations. For example, for business visits, you need letters from your client (who is inviting you) & your company (who is paying for your visit). A tentative agenda for the visit will be a plus & useful at times.
