  • Urgent HELP Needed PLEASE!!!

I overstayed in the United States because upon arrival I was given 2 weeks stay, though I had a 5yrs visa. Their reason was that I pregnant and near my due date. I didn't know it was an offence to travel to the states when pregnant. Before my 2 weeks given would reach I visited the hospital because I was in pain, I was told by the doctor that I can deliver anytime soon. I explained my immigration status to the doctor and he advised I can't be on a plane due to risk of labour and so was given a letter to back it up.

I later had my baby and few months later returned home with my baby. 3yrs later was going on a visit and I was refused entry and my visa was cancelled n withdrawn, I applied for another visa with my son n daughter and was refused.

I want to know the way I can go about it and return to the states since my son is a US citizen?

This is by no means "urgent". Please avoid using that tag for routine queries.

Is this for you, or a friend, as you posted in another forum?

Since you entered into USA with an doubtful reason & gave birth to your son there (to make him US citizen). Its pretty hard for you to get any USA visa now.

However once your son turns 18, he can think of sponsoring you a green card.

Apparently this post is "for a friend". OP posted this on another online forum where he\she got dozens of responses about why the friend.. from Ghana.. deserves to never be allowed into the US for abusing her B visa by travelling during late stages of her pregnancy with the implicit desire of giving birth in the US.. and then socking US taxpayers with a huge bill by claiming Medicaid.

Following the birth, the friend waited several more months past her authorized stay to procure her newborn's US passport before flying out of the US.

Such people take undue advantage by abusing B2 privileges, thereby raising the bar for genuine future visa applicants.

Don't she had to wait to take the baby out? Baby's passport was must for her to take him/her to her home country.
