  • regarding DS160 for B2..need help

    Hi,

I have applied for a B2 visa for the first time on my own. I would be travelling with cousins for tourism purposes. I am already done with Finger scanning and photo last week and interview appointment scheduled in 1st week May.

    I have 2 queries:

    1) In national identification number I have mentioned my Aadhaar number. Hope that's fine and should not create a problem?
    2) In US contact information for reference I have mentioned a name of my cousin's friend and contact details for reference whom I have never met earlier. Didn't know we could mention any hotel details. What should be done in that case?

Your revert shall be of immense help to me.

    Thanks.

Its not a required field, so you should have kept it N/A. however it won't impact anything - you are good to go ahead.

They just need a point of contact where they can reach you in USA. So your cousin's friend details are good.

Best of luck for your visa !!
