Hi,
I landed in US in Dec2005 on L1 visa with my wife on dependant visa (L2). My Parents are planning to visit me in April mid. Visitor Visa interview appointment in Delhi is in early April. They have already bought a return ticket for both of them on their own -- Returning in June end. So, what should be written in Q28 -- my name or "Self" ?
I have heard that chances of getting visa are brighter if someone in US sponsors. So, I wrote my name there. Truly speaking, though I will not be paying for their air-fare; all other expenses in US - like boarding, lodging, touring, travelling within US, medical insurance will be borne out by me.
So, pls suggest whether I should leave my name as it is in Q 28? In that case, on their invitation letter should I mention that my parents have arranged for their ticket cost themselves and I would bear all their expenses while in US. Will it be OK? Or the visa officer will complain that why you wrote your son's name when he didn't purchase your ticket.
Could anyone pls share his/her experience...
Thanks, Kaushal.
