Regarding Marriage Certificate-Pls. reply

Hi,
I am applying for tourist visa for my mother. My husband is sponsoring for the trip. Is our original Marriage certificate a mandatory document?

We have the marriage certificate but there is a problem in the document. My mother's occupation is wrongly printed in the document. She is a business partner in an industry but the marriage certificate shows wrongly as Govt. servant. We tried to change in India, but it seems it will take atleast 6 months to change. My mom's visa interview date is on Mar 28.

Please suggest me any solution.

I don't think it will take 6 months to change mother occupation in marriage certificate.

Try it, it may take 1 day to reprint the document.
