Help regarding insurance

1. is insurance high for age older than 70years
2. Do we have to buy the insurance before going to interview if you are above 70 yrs. one of the insurance guy is telling that this is a must.
please some one help

1. Insurance premiums are based on age. Therefore, it costs more to insurance 70 year old person compared to 30 years old person.

2. It is NOT mandatory to buy insurance for 70+ years to get the visa. There is no such requirement. Some insurance/travel agents just lie to get your business. But you can't really rely on them.
