fastest way of sending documents to india

i wanted to know what is fastest way of sending documents to india...fedex, registered post or any otherway. how long usually these methods take?
does this work on weekends too?
any info is apreciated.

FedEx takes anywhere bet. 2-4 days. I used UPS and took 3 WORKING days (excluding saturday and sunday).
