  • Very Urgent: Hindi Option in Delhi Embassy

    I need tot ake an appoitnment at the earliest. For delhi, appointment online does not give hindi interpreter . How do I do that.

    What Mumbai Consulate Replied to an email (I got this from another forum. Just posting it here if it helps anybody. thats all...) U may want to contact Delhi consulate and confirm this:

    We conduct interviews in the following languages: English, Hindi, Gujarati and Marathi.
    We have translators for these languages on permanent staff, no need to request one.
    When the applicants enter the visa waiting hall at the date of interview they will be asked their language preference for the interview.
    Arrangements will then be made to have the proper translator at the interview.

      Hmm this seems strange isn't it? If this is the case with consulates then why should we even wait and struggle to get an appointment in a regional language when we can choose any language and get the interpreter there? Please confirm

              In delhi , Once u ar in the embassay at the counter (outer counter) where applications are checked .. u have to ask for hindi counter or may be an interpreter..
