getting same windows during interview

Hi,
My two brother-in-laws and their kids are applying for visitor visa on march 24th.My two sisters already have 10 years visa.They all want to visit USA togather but they have different window at same time for interview.It might be possible that one will get the visa while other wont.
1)Is that possible to request the same window at consulate ?
2)If not then,should they mention that they both want visit USA togather?
