Visitor visa question

I have scheduled an Interview for my parents. After reading all the horrific experiences, I have a plan to dodge the infamous bhurka lady. My sister is married an lives in Chennai. I guess when a question regarding how many children do you have ? and where are they? is asked, I am pretty sure the visa is bound to be rejected. Can I say she's unmarried and doing her studies> will they find out or ask for any proof . Please advise.

How can they find out unless they visit your house. Go ahead and lie , there is nothing wrong. Just make sure you have proper documentation to support the lies and the person attending the interview lies confidently. This would be the advice I would give to anyone appearing for tourist visa interview because these US consulate officials are denying visas for genuine family visitors and adding insult to injury robbing our money.
