My parents were also rejected by this brukha lady. She has no questions to ask, except standard questions. Dont get how she can judge case by case, if same questions are posed to everyone (supposed to ask questions based on
the case presented and then make decision). However, on the same day, other windows CO are asking many questions and were issuing visas.

Folks, trust me when I say that it's no use to contact that email address. They are extremely rude there as well. In fact more rude than the VFS folks. I can say this from personal experience. I was yelled at when I called this team to just ask when they are gonna open July slots for Regional Languages.

Infamous Burkha Lady
Hi All
My family is one of the victim of the burkha lady, and the Visa Officer has every right to reject, and no obligation to make it accountable to others. So we need to live with the reality... Hold on before you jump...
I called up the US Consulate in Washington DC and spoke with the Visa Officer for international affairs for an hour. They told me that my Parents visa was rejected by burkha lady on financial grounds(that is what she wrote on the application), while the burkha lady told my parents that the reason was " Both children are in US and so rejecting ". None of the documents that my parents had were verified, and they are both working with good income. We didnt get the letter from the consulate stating the rejection reason, so we were not sure of the reason till now. I also told them about the infinite problems that I have with the VFS, and she noted down all of these. She told me to Fax a letter with all these details, and I am going to do that soon. We can complain to the Chennai Consulate at [email protected] , and they will surely register the case. I know that my case is forwarded (the VFS issues part of it) to the Chief of the Consular staff and I will let you know if I happen to hear further. Try to get in touch with Visa Consular Staff and not VFS staff.

Burkha lady rejected visa for my mom in March recently last week.
This was her third attempt. It is very frustrating when they reject visitor visas for no reason. I completely agree with you guys. I have no idea what is my next step. I have my whole family in India and no reason why my parents would stay here for long time leaving all their responsibilities back home.

Hey Sat did you manage to get an email id of the person you spoke to in DC or an email id of the consulate in DC. I have written over 3 emails to chennaiNIV but they dont reply or the reply is irrelavant.
I think if there is an email here that we can report the issues of the website it might be helpful. Just y'day my brother went to the vfs office in Chennai and said this is the issue that we are facing and she replied saying thats SERVER PROBLEM we cant do any thing.
What do you all have to say about it????

collective forum for complaints
hello
is there any place we can complain about these rapid visa rejections based on the fact that both siblings are in the US which has been mentioned truthfully to the US consulate. My parents visas were also rejected twice based on the same reason and the fact that both siblings are here in the US is also not going to change. Can we write to someone at a higher level about this .
Thanks
