I am going back to USA in a month ( i have lived at US for 2.5 yrs,came back to india after applyig extension, stayed here for almost 8 months, now only i got my visa extension approved) and I need to take my mom along with me. But since am currently in India, I think i can't sponsor for my mom though I have sufficient financials.I was thinking of taking my mom as visitors visa under self sponsorship.she owns a house and have decent cash savings. But she got retired just last month and her income will be considerably less.what chances are there for her to clear the interview? Her plan to the consulate would be to stay with my cousin family for 3 months then visit my friend family (family friend) and spend 3 more months there , visit tourist places on weekends. Would this plan improve her chances? Or should she show her financials and also provide my visa approvals, my travel plans, tickets and tell the consulate she is going to travel along with me? Please suggest what would be her best chance of getting visitors visa done? People do H4 and take their family along with them when fly to US on H1 rite? Wont the consulate accept if my mom shows her finances and i show my US savings , accounts statements for the last active month, my current I797, if needed my travel tckets? My mom is stayig alone here n i cant let her here and go..any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
