Unaccompanied 12 year old traveling from India to u.s

I have been looking for any help, but can't find anything.
My husbands nephew would like to visit us from India. Passport and everything is done. Interview is not required as he is under 14. My question is how are his chances of traveling unaccompanied. He will be set up with United airline with airline help, straight flight Delhi to jfk.
What else should I send apart from itenirary. We also are sending a notarized letter taking responsibility while he's here including financial and health. He will be stay with us for 4 weeks. We are applying for b2 visa. Any chances they will not let him travel alone?
He will have united airline crew help which they charge extra for when you buy a ticket.
Anyone has any experience or any help. Please advise
