Is self sponsor better than

I am staying in US since 3 months on L1 visa. I want to bring my parents to US on B2 visa. Please advise if the chances of getting visa is good for self sponsor or is it good if I sponsor the trip. My Father is a retired government employee. Also please advise how much bank balance is good to show in bank.

1. It is always better if the applicant can show that they can take care of their US trip expenses themselves.
2. People ask such questions all the time. "How much bank balance should I show?" What do you mean? Show whatever you have.
