  • Itinerary has changed

Hi looking for some advice. I've recently been issued a 10yr B2 visa. On my DS-160 form I put that my plans were to travel to Orlando (specified hotel) and the date I would be travelling however since my visa has been issued our plans have now changed so rather than go February 2017 we are travelling in October 2017. Will this be an issue? Do I have to advise the embassy of my change of plans? or can I just go and if I am asked at immigration I can explain then?
please help as I'm worried they will think I lied.

    Happens All. The. Time.

Plans change as soon as the visa is issued. A 3-week mention at interview becomes a 6-month visit at booking.. travel is preponed or postponed.. etc, etc.
So you applied for a visa for a trip a year down the road?

So are you saying it won't be a problem? And yes I applied early as heard it takes a long time to process a visa.

I also didn't point out that my hotel location is also different to what I recorded on my DS-160. Is this no an issue?

Please can someone confirm if this is going to be an issue, I am really worried and if I need to inform the consular I'd like to do it sooner rather than later.

          thanks

No issues, travel when you want to. No need to preinform.
