  • Should my parents update their DS160?

    Hello everyone,

I am an international student in the US and I have sent an invitation letter to my parents to visit me here in Fall. They have filled out their DS160 forms in Nov 2015. In March 2016, they scheduled their B2 visa interview appointment for next week (in June). At the time they were filling the forms, I was their only immidiate family in the US. Couple of weeks ago, my sister has been entered to US as the spouse of international student. Also, my parents had a change of address (in their home country) recently. So, my question is : should they fill out new DS160 forms and add my sister to the list of their immidiate family in US and update their address? If so, should they take their new DS160 to the interview in the embassy?

    Thanks in advance!

if biometric is done no changes are permitted further

if biometric is done no changes are permitted further if biometric is still pending then you can fill new DS 160 and be there with both old DS 160 Confirmation & New DS 160 Confirmation they will change you old DS 160 With new one and give you stamped Updated DS 160 Confirmation.

also note If Circumstances of applicant are change now as application was filled long time back its not applicants fault and it will not come under the suppression of facts during consular interview if they ask any thing related to it applicant can clear their doubt with your sisters passport copy front & back page with your parents name on back page/US Visa Copy /Immigration stamp with date which will be after visa application date.
