Passport typos - Help in Visitor Visa

Hi,
My parents are eagerly planning to visit us in US. My husband is H1B and in the application we have sponsored my parents. There is one issue, it would be great if someone has any idea about it:

1. In my father's passport, in Husband/Of field, my mother's name has a typo A written as O

2. My mother's passport has A

3. Co-applicant - Spouse - in the application form we wrote same as above what is in my mother's passport ie with A

So, my mother's passport and co-applicant name in application is same but there is a typo in my father's passport, where my mom's name - A written as O.

Although, he has already submitted the visa application and paid the fee, still we are concerned if this typo may reject the application. He plans to have a very short visit (3 weeks) as he is working back in India.

Does anyone has any opinion on it? If by chance it gets rejected, do they refund the money (around Rs 21,000).

Typos are for the applicant and not for the consular please ignore it

Hi Please note they have nothing to do with the typos in the passport but please make sure the applicants name should be identical same as mention in passport even if it has typo also in spouse details in application form please mention spouse name and passport no. as mention in spouse passport. Visa fee is non refundable once submitted cannot be refunded.
