Help Please!
Hello! I am new on this forum and I need help!
I am a permanent resident of Canada for 2 years already but I have lived in Canada for 7 years now.
Me and my son will be applying for a US B2 visa in Calgary in July. I filled up the form online, paid the fees and booked an appointment at the Calgary office. But now my main concern is that my passport is only valid up to March 2017. So from July I only have 8 months validity on it. Now, would I have any problems with it? Would I be denied because of it?
I can always renew my passport after the visa approval - it's just that the Philippine Consulate in Calgary is not yet ready for Passport renewal. Of course, I would renew it before we even travel to the US.
Is there somebody here who has a similar experience?
