i can come to usa on a visit visa but can i take up a part time job or work under private employment, and then convert my visa to H1. i dont mind if i have to leave the country to get my visa stamped. what do i have to do and where do i look for a job. is a visit and dependent visa the same. if not visit visa then who can take a dependent visa and can i work on that visa under private employment and then may be take admission and convert my visa accordingl. my sister and her husband are working in usa they are green card holders.
