Does Letter of Invitation needs to be sent as original sign document for Vistor visa?

Hi All,

I have sent the signed orginal Letter of Invitation (LOI) to my parents for Vistor visa but what if the documents do not reach then can they carry colored print outs of the same?

Will it suffice?

Please reply urgently as their interview is on June 2016

original invite is not mandatory

original invite is not mandatory but suggest them to carry your passport photocopy front and back page with your visa copy along with their financials as below

6 months original bank statement which shows them financially sound to the consular
3 Years ITR
Investment proof FD/PF/Property Investment etc..
also advise them to prepare a covering letter requesting consular for visa with same purpose and travel dates mention on it as it is there on the invite.

I have given them my tax proofs, Passport, Visa, Bank statements and employement letter and Letter to counsulate mentioning their tentative length of stay.

My father will also carry his investment proofs.
