  • Depressed - parents visa got rejected

    Hello All

I am looking forward for any suggestion, help possible to get my parents visa on second attempt (appointment in Apr).

Last time I personally went to India to get my parents with me. I also had to get my visa stampled (H1B extension). The lady at Mumbai granted visa to me, but refused for my parents. She told that laws are very strict and can't grant visa to my parents. I was at total loss, because we have all the documentation, indian property papers etc etc and what not, that lady didn't even look at it.

I have two sisters in India (married) and I am the only son. My parents live alone and its important for me to have them with me for some time. Last time we applied for 6 months visa, but now I am applying for 3 months just to make sure that doesn't become issue.

Nothing has changed since last rejection, my father is retired and I think that also ads to problem. Shall I show that he works for private firm this time?

My parents doesn't know english very well and need translator (marathi).

    I am extremely nervous.

Does visiting any visa consultant helps? If you know any, please suggest consultants in Mumbai.

    Any suggestions are welcome.

Visa conslutants are not officials of consulates and nothing to do with the granting of visa.

Re apply with more solid India ties.
