question about visa

Hello,
My father applied for visitor visa in 2007 and got rejected because a mistake i made when sending the sponsorship paper and the mistake was that ,there was a question about if someone came from your family on immigrant visa and i wrote my mother name on it but the fact is that my mother came here in 2003 and again on 2006 on just visitor visa,(no one applied for immigration in my family)so i am going to apply again this year for my father so is the vo is going to reject the visa again because the mistake i made almost 8 years ago,is there i can do to make this right,please help me

Fill the application correctly. If visa officer ask then your father can clarify at the time of interview.

its a human error but this time fill visa form as per proper details also at the time of consular interview advise applicant to carry your mothers passport in original latest and old passport if any so that if vo ask they can clarify easily also advise them to carry financial documents.
