I am planning to apply for an MBA in a US university next year. I would like to visit the universities before finalizing which all universities to apply to. I have applied for a B2 visa for this purpose and is awaiting interview. My question is - is it okay to tell the interviewer during my visa interview that my objective is to visit potential universities before taking a decision? I have no intention of staying back in USA (not only after this trip but also even after my MBA). I am an Indian currently living and working in a middle eastern country with strong ties back to India. My parents live in India and all my investments - bank deposits and stocks are all in India. I also have a rent agreement in my current country with receipts of rent being regularly paid for the last 2 years. Thanks a lot in advance for all helpful answers.
