Parents and Brother Visitor Visa

Hi All,

I was planning to file tourist visa for my parents and brother but my H1B is getting expired next month i.e. August 2016.I have already filed my extension and have the receipt number with me.Some of my friends said that USCIS checks if your visa is valid for next 6 months from the day of parents interview date but in my case it won't be valid.So thought of checking with Experts on this website as they might be well aware.

Please guide me as i am about to fill the DS160 form for my parents and brother.

If you have already filed the extension and have receipt. I don't see any issue.
