Giving Birth in the USA on a tourist visa. Coming from the UK.

Will 20-30k£ be enough to cover medical expenses?
Do i need to tell the immigration officer that i plan to do this? If i do what are the chanced i will be denied?


What is the best way to do this? I do not plan to stay in the USA i plan to move back to the UK.

Most likely yes. If it's normal delivery without any complication.

You have to be honest and let visa officer decide. You can provide enough proof that you will go back to your country.

Out of curiosity, why would someone not give birth in the UK where medical expenses are covered by the NHS?
