Looking to apply for a B2 visa with my sister's family. Chance me?

Hey all,

I'm a Malaysian looking to apply for a US visa in Kuala Lumpur.

Here's a little background about me:
1) I'm 24
2) I have previously earned a degree in the United States in August 2013.
3) I worked at a University in the United States until January of this year after graduating.
4) I'm currently in the middle of an internship in Malaysia and intend to visit the United States in December, a month before my internship ends (with the option to extend, which I likely would.)

My intentions to visit the United States is to retrieve some belongings left behind with my friends and to visit my girlfriend. I will look to apply with my sister's family (her, her husband, and her child).

Do I have a slim chance of acceptance?

Visa officer evaluate each individual independently. So even though you apply with your sister's family. Possibly you may get visa if visa officer convince with the real reason for your visit. Not sure about your sister family.

With previous travel to the US and returning home, you have a positive in getting a visitor visa.

Having a US girlfriend is a negative since it's a reason for you to stay in the US beyond your visit.

I used to possess an F1 visa. When I apply for a B2 visa, do I just create a new application or do I have to somehow look up my old visa account number?

Also, I have a legal social security number. Should I include that with my application?
